The cities we all expected in the ranking of best city trips in Europe are obviously Berlin, Barcelona, Rome or Madrid. A beautiful beach is always ideal to enjoy the summer temperatures. That's why dozens of beaches of the Croatian city of Split are probably the perfect place to relax in the sun.
Split is located near the Adriatic Sea, one of the purest waters in Europe. In addition to pleasant beaches, activities abound in Split and around this city. The holiday atmosphere promotes a fun and relaxing night life, with many events, clubs and bars present on the beach during the summer.
The places of attraction are not lacking, as the historic city center, where there is a particular castle. In addition, the various islands near Split are definitely worth a visit, if only for their cities and unspoiled nature.
Although a trip to Split is not as fast as a city trip to other cities mentioned, Split still worth it! If you feel that Split is too far to make a city trip, you can obviously spend all your holiday, with the opportunity to visit other Croatian cities such as Dubrovnik.
